OUR SERVICES

Programs

Our programs

Guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and reflecting the current needs, strengths and interests of the children, our programs provide a variety of fun and challenging indoor and outdoor activities each day.

In each of the rooms a typical daily program will include play experiences that have been planned by teachers in the areas of art, imaginative play, construction, manipulative and fine motor skills, mathematics, science, music, movement and drama, gross motor skills, computer knowledge, literacy and language.

Through play, the ongoing development of each child toward emotional, social, learning and communication outcomes in readiness for school is facilitated. Our daily routine allows for extended periods of free play indoors and outdoors, together with large and small group experiences and shared meal times. Whilst flexible enough to meet needs and interests on a day to day basis, the routine structure provides the predictability that children need to feel secure and supported in their environment, whilst becoming used to following directions and understanding expectations.

Children bring their own lunchboxes from home and learn to recognise and care for their own belongings, open packages and make independent food choices…all of which are important school readiness skills.
Facilities

Our facilities and services

Our newly renovated classrooms are open and spacious with views into our large, natural outdoor play spaces. The sandpit, deck, bike track, open grassed and soft fall areas and expansive gardens provide inviting play spaces for inquisitive nature lovers and are ideal for active children who love the outdoors!

We host a variety of shows and performances by trained professionals and entertainers throughout the year, with these experiences enhancing our educational programs.

We have access to Government funding and early intervention services that assist us to support the inclusion of children with additional needs.

We work in collaboration with local primary schools to support a smooth transition to Kindergarten process for all children.

We feel it is important that children develop ‘a sense of community’. Recycling and sustainability are embedded into our everyday practices as children learn to care for the environment. We also hold fun events throughout the year to raise money for other children’s charities, so that a sense of awareness in helping others is instilled.

If a vacancy is available at any other time we will be in contact with you to offer you a position.

We acknowledge the Preschool years of early childhood as the most critical stage of a child’s development. All that is learnt now will lay the foundations for what children will become in the future, setting up a life time of success and enjoyment in learning, communicating with and getting along with others.

We would be honoured to work in partnership with you to achieve the best possible outcomes for your child.
